Elizabeth and Lyonne are Asian-Canadian psychotherapists who have grown together in both their personal and professional lives since meeting during their internship. Having shared many experiences and therapeutic values, they confidently advocate for one another and their ability to support others.     Work Experience

    Elizabeth (she/her) has provided mental health support to diverse populations in universities, youth shelters, crisis centers, violence-against-women non-profit organizations, medical clinics, EFAPs, and counselling agencies. She has also conducted workshops about ‘abuse and healthy relationships’ in schools throughout the GTA with Toronto Police, and hosted ‘anti-Asian racism and intergenerational trauma’ healing groups for the Toronto Library.

    Work Experience

    Lyonne (she/her) has experience providing mental health support in community mental health agencies. She has provided crisis counselling to individuals in the community who are at risk, post-secondary students, and EAP organizations. She joined a non-profit in 2020 as a Violence Against Women therapist, providing individual therapy to adult female survivors of trauma. Lyonne is a psychodynamic therapist who is specifically passionate about providing care to the Asian community.
