Explore your pricing options and navigate the payment/insurance process for our services.
We also offer lower rates on a sliding-scale if:
You think we’d be a great fit but the standard rate is outside your price range.
You have limited insurance.
You’re a current client and your financial situation has changed.
At E-Therapy, we know that financial situations can change at any time. Please feel free to contact us if this occurs, we’d be happy to explore an adjustment to fit your circumstances and comfort level. If you require a reduction- let us know! We want to accommodate you as best as we can. If you are able to comfortably afford a higher rate- let us know! A greater contribution means we can offer lower rates to those who need it.

Different therapists have different methods for determining sliding scale rates. They may have a standard reduced rate and make adjustments from there if needed, some might explore your financial situation with you and then intuitively decide on a rate together, and others will use a calculation tool that provides a rate based on specific information. Rate reductions can also be affected by how many sliding-scale clients a therapist is already supporting and their availability. It can be helpful to inquire with multiple therapists to see what they’re able to provide.
Our sliding scale typically ranges between $80-$150 with the possibility of further reductions. Our therapists can also help you to find alternative trusted options if we’re not able to accommodate you at that time.

Psychotherapy is covered fully or partially by most insurance plans. If you’re unsure whether your plan covers psychotherapy, we recommend checking with your provider or workplace representative.
Therapists in Canada are unable to bill insurance companies directly. In order to access your benefits, you would need to complete the payment and then submit your invoice to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
